A long and physically tiring week

Temperatures around north Orange (i.e. CSU campus) are hovering between 36 and 39degC again today. There has been concern that either or both peregrines have found the going tough, but not long ago both birds were heard calling to each other – Swift on the ledge and Beau down in the trees – big relief! There has been footage of Swift manning the eyrie overnight recently but few signs of Beau daring to venture inside.
