With external construction and stronger wall mounts going in this afternoon we’re close to changing over the roosts to the updated model. And not before time as design work has taken a while but we’ve learnt plenty from our first full breeding season and the new box is taking into account plenty of improvements.
This afternoon mum was heard and seen on top of the tower calling persistently for the male, head bowed. He finally arrived and they mated happily in full view of the world! All good signs for a successful season.
