Day 36 and Solo is getting closer to that day when the outside world can’t wait any longer. With an almost complete set of feathers now the wings are strengthening with more wild flapping today in the spacious eyrie. Swift dropped in today for another curious look around and still doesn’t seem to be totally convinced yet that the black hole in the wall with a round camera lens in it is quite safe. Swift also showed some habitual gravel scraping and settling before leaving Solo to it.
The chick is settling for a rest closer and closer to the ledge every hour now and with some luck from outside one can just see the little head on the ledge from down below the tower.
