A young crimson rosella, with suicidal tendancies, alighted for a while on the outside of the ledge while Swift was incubating. Oddly enough, Swift barely moved, just gave her death-stare (reminiscent of Julie Bishop’s). I’m not sure exactly how long it stayed there as there was a short camera glitch, but he or she left before Beau arrived 10 minutes later. Yes, I know I need to clean the lens!
Wow! That’s taking curiousity to the extreme! Perhaps Swift was also curious.
Is it also the case that if a potential meal doesn’t flee a peregrine doesn’t feel the need to chase?
