Various campus staff members have witnessed plenty of peregrine social activity on or around the Concrete Hilton between both Beau and Swift. The weather hasn’t been conducive to courting and has been more appropriate to wet weather gear, but the days are improving at the moment, with plenty of sunning time up on the roof today. No sign of changes inside the eyrie yet.
Which is a good thing as the battle to find a local supplier of suitably graded gravel has been long and protracted. Finally today our campus horticulture specialists/gardeners, Ian and Chris, located a small dump of gravel which may suit our requirements for this season, and a possible supplier in Orange is to be checked tomorrow. Either way we should have an adequate level of gravel in the box by the end of the week, and not before time.
