This morning mum has had a chance to relax and has been seen sleeping (i.e. eyes closed) for a change. After 2 meals brought in by dad she’s settled better than she has for a while.
With a good food supply at the moment and much better weather now (frost last night, but the days are getting much better now, with the first day of Summer today) there’s time to clean plumage as well.
