Winter in Orange

With unusual snow flurries passing through Orange today in an unusual Spring day, 4degC at ground level & most probably a lot cooler 50m in the nest, and very strong gale force winds swaying the tower (not good if you get motion sickness!), the female was vigilantly sitting and trying to keep herself warm, let alone maintaining an even temperature for the eggs. A very tough day for our peregrines.
