AT 0725 h Diamond laid her first egg of the season, a little later than expected. Here is a video of the egg being laid and Gimbir’s reaction to seeing it for the first time an hour later (he was a bit distracted by a small flock of sulphur-crested cockatoos harassing him).
The average gap between eggs being laid is 60 hours at this site, but the range is 45 to 75 hours, so don’t fret if the gaps seems longer than usual.
