Thanks Phil (CSU DIT) for sending us this link to a video clip showing what birds of prey are capable of – an amusing sea eagle took a liking to a motion sensor camera that was originally set up to monitor crocodiles feeding in the Kimberley region in north-west Australia. Seems the advice to us was right in that obtaining vandal-proof upgrades to our HD cameras might be sensible after all!! Next step will be to attach GPS beacons on to these sneaky thieves so we can recover our equipment if they ever steal it!
