All camera recording systems are running as planned, video streams are operating better than expected, internal vision is now enabled for local campus viewers, testing of software is underway and while all this is going on down here it’s completely quiet up the Concrete Hilton, apart from the occasional excitement from Beau when he brings food back. Changeovers are happening probably 4-5 times each day but Swift will always do the night shift. We are now recording long segments of the nest camera from before sunrise until later in the morning so if anything happens we’ll be ready.
Here’s a 3-minute clip of Beau today after Swift had gone for a break. His confidence this year to handle 3 eggs has improved. His big test will be when the eggs (hopefully) turn into moving furry bundles shortly. Keep watching.
