Today appears to be much like most other days at the moment in the eyrie – dawn’s first light shows Swift snoozing and waking up to the new day, and the arrival of Beau at around 8.30am to check. It’s a very windy day in Orange today and much as the water tower is very strong it still has a noticeable sway to it on days such as this. To a peregrine of course the sway is nothing like what they’d experience up in a tree, but to a human it’s possible to come down after an hour or so and find you’re feeling nauseous (we pick our climbing days!).
