Migii is showing rapid progress now towards flight feathers, and every time we look there’s even less down covering head, body and wings. In observations today Migii has been sheltering from the fierce gusty winds around the tower and huddling in to the back of the nest. When mum has appeared at the ledge there seems to be growing confidence in stepping up on to the first/lower ledge to be with mum and to gain a better view; not easy in the winds today.
