I found her in the yellow box roost trees, where our youngsters often end up for flight training. This area is about 3 or 400 m from the tower and is, unfortunately, out of sight of any of the cams. This first photo gives you an idea of the area – and how far away I am, although I did creep a bit closer. Can you spot her?

And Diamond came to see me and ‘kekked’ at me. I’m not sure if she has prey in her talon. I think she might just be holding a branch.
And Gimbir came down for a visit too, so I was very lucky.

And to cap it all, a couple of galahs came to say hello (to taunt?) Girri…. they were just above her.
