Diamond stashes the remains of a large pigeon in the corner and hops back a couple of times to see if it is still there. Is she leaving it deliberately for Xavier? I’m inclined to think so. It’s not unknown for females to transfer prey gifts to males. Diamond seems to prefer the indirect method, although of course we can’t be certain of her intentions.
Other signs of courtship are going well. Mating is now quite frequently seen on the tower and prey bringing is also ramping up.
