Diamond laid her first egg on 26th August, the same date as in 2022. The second and third egg were laid on 28th and 31st August, a laying interval of 59 and 59.5 hours between each. Serious incubation started after the second egg was laid, which is normal. Each laying was recorded and the videos are on the youtube channel.
The parents share the incubation duties. Generally, the female takes the major role and always incubates at night. The male usually incubates about 20% of daylight hours. Some males are not too keen to help out, but our Xavier loves his ‘egg-time’. Here is actually trying to steal the eggs from under Diamond:
